Job Description:

Join our renal healthcare team in Tuscaloosa for a 13-week travel assignment, working 12-hour night shifts at a busy hospital's 36-bed renal unit. You'll provide specialized nursing support to patients with kidney conditions, including acute and chronic kidney disease requiring dialysis. While delivering care, you'll also be prepared to float to other units and hospitals as needed. The role offers a unique chance to gain experience in a collaborative environment, managing a patient load with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and supporting patients through their treatment journeys. This position is perfect for nurses with at least 18 months of recent experience in nephrology or critical care who hold an Alabama or Compact RN license. Expect to engage fully in patient-focused activities, working with electronic medical records using Meditech and adhering to hospital dress code in solid navy scrubs.
