Job Description:

This pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) contract offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for healthcare professionals experienced in managing critically ill or surgical pediatric patients. You'll be working in a 26-bed unit, providing care on 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week period. The role demands a minimum of 2 years' PICU experience, along with current BLS and PALS certifications. As part of your responsibilities, you'll be supporting patients with complex medical needs, often in a one-to-one or two-to-one nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring high-quality care during each shift. The unit encourages traveler engagement and frequent extension opportunities, offering a chance to immerse in a supportive and flexible team environment.
