Job Description:

This respiratory therapy role in the NICU and adult critical care units offers a chance to work across a variety of demanding clinical settings. In this assignment, you will be responsible for airway management, medication administration, arterial blood gases, and implementing lung therapies such as BiPAP, CPAP, and nebulizers, ensuring optimal respiratory support for both neonatal and adult patients. You’ll also float between units like the ER, ICU, and pediatric floors, providing critical therapies and emergency support. The shift is during overnight hours—12-hour nights—giving you the opportunity to experience the pace and unique rhythms of night work. The setting is a Level II Trauma Center with a busy community hospital environment. This role combines technical respiratory care with a flexible, multifaceted clinical scope that keeps each shift engaging and professionally rewarding.
