Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse contract places you in the bustling MICU at a prominent short-term acute care hospital in St. Louis. You're stepping into a role that demands your expertise in managing patients with complex needs, including those on vents, dysrhythmias, and advanced life support. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts, three times a week, allowing for a full 36-hour weekly commitment. Expect to float within the ICU service line and possibly support neighboring units, all while utilizing your critical thinking to tackle high-acuity cases. The assignment is perfect for RNs with solid ICU experience and a knack for handling a busy, versatile environment—don't forget your ACLS, BCLS, and the ability to interpret EKGs confidently. This role offers a unique opportunity to hone specialized skills like CRRT, prone positioning, and bedside procedures in a Magnet and Teaching hospital setting, with an emphasis on safety, sterile technique, and adaptability.
