Job Description:

Join this 9-week labor and delivery RN contract where you'll be working 12-hour daytime shifts, providing essential support in a busy L&D unit. This role involves managing admissions, discharges, transfers, and deliveries with a focus on patient safety and efficient workflow. Experience with labor and PP is preferred, and the unit’s pace will keep you engaged — from fetal monitoring to documentation in Cerner and Fetalink. You'll work with females of childbearing age, including pregnant women at various stages, and handle scheduled procedures like C-sections and external cephalic versions. A valid RN license within the district is required, along with specific certifications like BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate electronic fetal monitoring. The setting offers a dynamic environment for experienced labor nurses eager to make a difference during this critical time for patients.
