Job Description:

This operating room registered nurse position offers a hands-on role in supporting diverse surgical procedures within a vibrant hospital setting. The nurse will circulate and scrub for surgeries such as orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, neuro/spine, ENT, plastics, and robotics. The role involves both outpatient and inpatient cases, with approximately 30% inpatient and 70% outpatient work. Shift work includes 8-hour days from 07:00 to 15:30, providing steady hours over the course of a 13-week contract. This assignment is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a variety of surgical cases, with an emphasis on orthopedics and robotics. Candidates should be comfortable with scrub duties, surgical procedures involving blood products, PICC lines, epidural pumps, and wound vacs. On-call shifts are 12 hours, divided evenly among team members, with coverage during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
