Job Description:

Join a 70-bed Level II Children's Hospital with a renowned Level IV NICU in Tacoma, Washington, for a 13-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role offers the chance to care for some of the tiniest and most vulnerable patients, including preemies as premature as 22 weeks gestation, and manage complex cases such as RDS, NAS, and high-risk deliveries. The shift is 12 hours overnight, requiring a team-oriented nurse comfortable with respiratory support, tracheostomies (preferred but not mandatory), feeding tubes, and PICC line management. You'll collaborate with a skilled staff in private rooms, with potential floating to the Emergency Department to support patient care when needed. This assignment is ideal for nurses with at least two years of Level III-IV NICU experience who enjoy a friendly work environment and are open to first-time travel experiences. The hospital uses EPIC EMR for documentation, and block scheduling may be available to provide some work-life balance.
