Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Kingsport, Tennessee. This role involves working three 12-hour day shifts from 06:30 am to 07:00 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. As part of the team, you'll handle inpatient, outpatient, pre/post-procedure, and portable bedside cases, providing vital support in a fast-paced surgical environment. The assignment offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to patient care from a unique perspective, emphasizing your OR expertise while participating in nursing education initiatives. You must have at least two years of OR experience, hold current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications, and be within 100 miles of the facility. General orientation begins online on Sundays, allowing flexibility for compliance documentation. This position includes 16 hours of nonbillable orientation and accommodates flexible shifts in response to hospital census changes, all within a supportive setting that values your clinical skills.
