Job Description:

Join a respected 50-bed community hospital as a Cardiac Sonographer, where you'll have the opportunity to perform advanced cardiac diagnostic imaging. Your expertise in TTE, TEE, Stress Echo, and Dobutamine Stress Echo studies will be essential in supporting patients through complex evaluations, including transplant and chemotherapy assessments. The role involves working in a fast-paced, patient- and family-focused environment with a dedicated team led by a knowledgeable Chief Sonographer and a specialized ultrasound educator. This assignment offers a chance to showcase your technical skills on state-of-the-art equipment across satellite sites within the Wake Region, with a supportive and collaborative department culture. Expect to engage with a variety of advanced imaging procedures and contribute significantly to patient care in a setting that balances portable and in-lab studies. The schedule is 8-hour days for a total of 40 hours weekly over 13 weeks. You will be required to have at least 2 years of experience, hold relevant certifications such as RCS, RDCS, or ACS, and ideally be ACLS certified.
