Job Description:

Step into the role of an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse at a respected teaching hospital in Charleston. This position offers a unique chance to work within the vascular interventional radiology specialty, focusing on procedures that blend critical care with procedural nursing. The schedule includes a rotating mix of four 10-hour shifts and three 12-hour shifts, giving you variety and flexibility. You will be supporting patients through complex vascular interventions, moderate sedation, and assisting during interventional procedures. This assignment provides the opportunity to utilize your ER, ICU, trauma, or critical care experience in a fast-paced setting, with the added challenge of working within a Level 1 Trauma hospital that proudly carries magnet recognition. The role requires active South Carolina or Compact State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS certifications, and radiation badge compliance. Expect to float within scope as needed, with a radius acceptance policy for locals. Be prepared for potential on-call duties, including weekends, nights, and holidays, with guaranteed hours and a flexible work schedule.
