Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Omaha, Nebraska, working 12-hour night shifts. This role is set on a 55-bed Med Surg / Tele unit where you'll be managing a variety of adult patients including those recovering from joint replacements, fractures, surgeries, and dealing with conditions like COPD exacerbation, sepsis, pneumonia, and GI bleeding. Expect to work alongside skilled nurse aides, monitor techs, and charge nurses, with a focus on hourly rounding and effective response to patient needs. You'll be doing more than just following orders—you'll be engaging in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, compassion, and efficiency. Certification in BLS is required, ACLS is preferred. Prepare for a pass/fail skills exam during orientation, with all necessary resources provided. Your responsibilities will include titrating various drips, managing multiple admissions and discharges daily, and providing culturally sensitive patient care in a setting that emphasizes safety and collaboration.
