Job Description:

This 13-week contract places you at Carlsbad Medical Center in New Mexico, working as a Medical-Surgical RN on a dedicated inpatient unit. You'll navigate a 12-hour day shift from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., floating across the unit and responding to occasional call requirements. Expect to handle general nursing duties including medication administration, patient assessments, and supporting occasional non-critical pediatric cases. The busy rhythm offers a lively workflow, with a patient ratio of approximately 1:6, and an electronic medical record system using MedHost. Please note this role requires at least 2 years of experience, BLS certification, and compliance with New Mexico's fingerprinting process for all travelers. This position offers a consistent workweek commitment of 36 hours, totaling 6 days a week.
