Job Description:

Join Carlsbad Medical Center as a Travel Med/Surg RN for a 13-week contract specializing in general inpatient medical-surgical nursing. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with floating and call responsibilities as needed. You'll be caring for a variety of adult and occasional non-critical pediatric patients, managing a patient ratio of approximately 1:6. The position offers a steady schedule and the chance to experience nursing in a rewarding setting that values flexibility and teamwork. Please note, fingerprints are required for all New Mexico travelers, and agency registration with the state is necessary for processing time. This assignment is perfect for experienced nurses comfortable working nights and handling a diverse patient load.
