Job Description:

This 13-week contract opportunity is for an experienced MedSurg RN ready to provide dedicated care in a 25-bed unit. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts with a commitment of 36 hours per week, including participation in weekend and holiday rotations. The role involves float requirements, covering both ICU and ER with competencies in these areas, along with charting in Epic EMR, Care Scape monitors, and Pyxis medication dispensing. You'll handle geriatric patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, and diabetes, delivering hands-on nursing skills in a supportive hospital setting. Flexibility in scrub colors and adherence to safety policies, including mask mandates during flu season, are expected. This assignment offers the chance to experience a small community hospital while applying your specialized skills in a fast-paced environment.
