Job Description:

This traveling Registered Nurse position in Medical Surgical Acute Care offers a chance to work in a vibrant hospital setting with 18 private and semi-private beds. You will be responsible for managing gen med patients with various diagnoses, titrating drips like Heparin, and collaborating with a dedicated team of charge nurses and PCTs. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) on a rotating weekend and holiday schedule. The role involves minor troubleshooting with telemetry equipment and maintaining patient safety across a diverse caseload. If you thrive on independence yet appreciate a solid support system—including in-house RTs and pharmacy—you'll find this assignment both challenging and rewarding.
