Job Description:

This travel assignment places experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) nurses in a busy postpartum and birthing unit in Oxnard, California. You will assist with high-risk deliveries, manage patients of all gestational ages—including EMT drop-offs and substance withdrawal cases—while floating between L&D and postpartum units as needed. The role involves circulating during C-sections in a setting that handles approximately 3 births daily, with a focus on supporting both routine and complex deliveries. You'll bring your 2-3 years of clinical expertise to a team that values flexibility, teamwork, and cultural diversity, including many Spanish-speaking patients. Shifts are 12 hours, with variable schedules offering a dynamic and engaging work experience.
