Job Description:

Join a family-centered labor and delivery unit in Redding, CA, as a Telemetry RN for a 13-week contracted assignment. Your role involves managing low and high-risk deliveries, including neonatal care within a Level III NICU. Expect to participate in a proctored Dysrhythmia Test on your first day — a straightforward pass/fail assessment — and support patients during overnight 12-hour night shifts. This position offers an opportunity to experience a busy, well-equipped maternity setting with a mix of routine and complex cases, while working alongside a dedicated staff that covers OB, NICU, and antepartum services. No telehealth duties are involved, but you'll have access to modern systems like Cerner and Fetal Link for surveillance purposes. Be prepared to work a schedule that includes 3 weekend shifts over a four-week period, respecting the hospital's holiday rotation, with shifts starting at 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM. The hospital provides scrubs, and you will float within pediatrics and NICU units depending on your experience. This role is ideal for skilled RN travelers who thrive in dynamic obstetric environments.
