Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a busy level 1 acute care setting, focusing on providing essential care in L&D, postpartum, and nursery units. The role involves a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including every other weekend work, with responsibilities centered around assisting in labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and nursery care. The resource will navigate Meditech EMR, and experience in fetal monitoring, neonatal nurseries, and postpartum care is essential. Candidates must hold a KY or compact license, with required certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring. This assignment is a chance to apply specialized skills in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on supporting mothers and newborns during their hospital stay.
