Job Description:

This 13-week travel RN assignment located in Peru, Illinois offers a chance to work on a bustling Med Surg unit with two beds designated for medical acute conditions such as pneumonia, heart failure, sepsis, COPD, and surgical cases. The role involves 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with an hourly commitment of 36 hours per week. You'll collaborate closely with PCTs and participate in patient care tasks like Foley care, bathing, oral cares, and monitoring telemetry strips. The unit features a mix of charge nurses and nurse techs, providing opportunities to hone leadership skills or focus on direct patient support. This assignment is ideal for RNs with at least 2 years of experience, particularly those comfortable with telemonitoring equipment, BiPAP/supplemental oxygen care, and working in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and communication.
