Job Description:

Join our team as an ICU registered nurse in Council Bluffs, Iowa, for an engaging 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers a chance to work in a high-acuity environment, managing patients with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, and MI, often involving drips, vents, and bipaps. You’ll be crucial in titrating medications like vasopressors and sedation agents, with comprehensive training provided. Expect to float to lower-care units like PCU and MedSurg when needed, with a supportive staff including hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7. The assignment features a 36-hour weekly commitment, with shifts scheduled every third weekend and a holiday coverage requirement.
