Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for an engaging 12-week contract in Augusta, GA. This role involves bridging the gap between adult to geriatric patients, managing a variety of diagnoses including wound care, IV starts, chest tubes, and more. You'll work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing skilled care in a unit equipped with Epic and Pyxis systems. Your responsibilities will include patient monitoring, wound management, and coordination using SBAR communication, all while adhering to isolation protocols and safety standards. As a Charge RN, your leadership will support a daily census averaging 29 patients across 32 rooms, with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. This position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your med-surg expertise, especially if you have at least one year of experience, including first-timers. Flexibility in floating within the facility is expected, but no call requirements are part of this assignment.
