Job Description:

Join a reputable medical-surgical oncology unit on a 13-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse specializing in hematology and oncology. This role involves administering chemotherapy, managing blood transfusions, and handling emergent situations like tumor lysis syndrome, all while working with a variety of patient diagnoses including lymphoma, leukemia, sickle cell disease, and non-hematologic cancers. The assignment features a 12-hour rotating shift, offering flexible scheduling and opportunities to float to related units. This is an excellent chance to enhance your oncology experience in a setting that values skill and adaptability. You will be involved in patient assessments, IV therapy, peripheral line management, and computerized charting via EPIC, all under the guidance of a preceptor during your orientation. The focus on infection prevention and patient safety makes this role a dynamic and rewarding challenge for dedicated oncology nurses.
