Job Description:

Join a specialized Cardiac Telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse, where you'll be immersed in adult to geriatric patient care focusing on cardiac monitoring and acute cardiac conditions. This position involves working 12-hour day shifts, managing a patient census of 1:5 across a 16-bed unit utilizing Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems. You'll have the chance to lead with charge nurse responsibilities, perform EKG interpretations, and coordinate care within a fast-paced environment that demands precision and critical thinking. The assignment offers a balanced schedule with six weekends over six weeks and the opportunity to work within your scope in a floating capacity. Expect to work closely with a dedicated team, contributing to patient safety and recovery in a setting that emphasizes heart health and complex cardiac cases.
