Job Description:

Join a specialized Surgical Intensive Care Unit as a Registered Nurse with EPIC experience in this 13-week travel contract. You'll work in a 20-bed unit dedicated to adult patients recovering from major surgeries or facing complex health challenges such as multi-system failure, organ transplants, or respiratory support. The role involves 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule, with a patient ratio typically of 1:2 but occasionally 1:3 during high census times. This assignment provides the chance to handle diverse cases, from post-op recovery to high-acuity adult ICU patients, in a setting known for comprehensive orientation, career development, and a collaborative environment. You’ll need at least one year of current ICU or ED RN experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and preferably a BSN and CCRN. First-time travelers are accepted, and your expertise will be vital in a unit that often participates in rapid response and complex monitoring.
