Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse contract offers an engaging opportunity to work in a 12-bed ICU with a variety of complex cases including CHF, COPD, Sepsis, MI, DKA, and COVID patients, many on ventilators and titratable drips. The role involves managing high-acuity patients during 12-hour night shifts, with a focus on critical care procedures such as titrating infusions like paralytics and sedatives. You'll work alongside a charge nurse and hospitalist team that are in-house 24/7, with a good mix of independent patient management and collaborative care. Orientation is provided over the first three days, including online modules and on-floor training, ensuring you're fully prepared for this specialized environment. The assignment spans approximately 13 weeks, with a commitment of 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday work. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your ICU expertise while experiencing a lively community atmosphere.
