Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse position offers a three-month contract working overnight shifts—12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The role involves floating across various units such as urology, orthopedics, neurology, and medical short stay, providing essential support in diverse clinical settings. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in med/surg and be familiar with EPIC documentation. While first-timers are generally not accepted, those with prior med/surg float experience may be considered. Expect to care for a patient load of up to three on day shifts and four on nights and weekends, with no call requirements.
