Job Description:

Join a busy intensive care unit in Rapid City as an ICU RN on a 13-week travel contract, working 12-hour night shifts. This role places you at the heart of a 39-bed mixed ICU—covering MICU, SICU, CICU, and TICU—where you'll manage complex patients ranging from post-surgical and trauma cases to medical and cardiac diagnoses. Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic lines, proning, and IV medication administration is essential, and familiarity with Epic is required. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team, including nurse aides, intensivists, and RTs, providing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. This assignment is perfect for experienced ICU nurses comfortable with rapid assessments and critical thinking, seeking a challenging yet rewarding travel opportunity without the need to float outside ICU unless desired. The role includes coverage for holiday periods and offers opportunities to precept students, all while working Navy scrub color and parking free of charge.
