Job Description:

Join a busy ICU team in Rapid City, SD, as a Registered Nurse specializing in critical care. This 21-week contract features 12-hour night shifts, providing a steady rhythm for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will care for a diverse patient population, including surgical, medical, cardiovascular, neuro, and trauma cases, many with complex diagnoses like ARDS, MI, CVA, or post-surgical recovery. The unit operates with a staffing model of RN: 1:1, 1:2, and occasionally 1:3, based on patient acuity. Your responsibilities will include ventilator management, hemodynamics, proning, and IV medication administration, with opportunities to work with Impella, IABP, and CRRT equipment. Epic charting experience is essential, and familiarity with ICU-critical workflows will help you integrate smoothly into this team.
