Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week night contract at a reputable hospital in Evansville, IN. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care during 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:30 AM, with a focus on acute medical-surgical cases including post-surgical recovery, sepsis, COPD, and additional complex conditions. You will manage a variety of procedures such as chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight catheters, and blood product administration, while utilizing your recent EPIC charting experience. The assignment provides an opportunity to experience a vibrant city atmosphere, with the chance to engage in unique medical cases and enhance your skills in a teaching hospital environment. You will be working within a 41-bed unit with an overall emphasis on teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability. Cross-campus float opportunities within the hospital system and occasional weekend rotations add variety to your schedule.
