Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a high-stakes ICU setting at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center, where your critical thinking and advanced neuro assessment skills will shine. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week contract, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, supporting a unit that balances ICU and step-down care for 18 beds. If you’re resilient, adaptable, and ready to handle complex neurological cases—this role is a perfect fit. The position involves managing ventilators, initiating therapies, interpreting EKGs, and following sepsis protocols, all within a team that values hard work and teamwork. Flexibility to float to step-down care when needed and the expectation of a quick start make this assignment both challenging and rewarding.
