Job Description:

This NICU/Special Care Nursery RN contract offers a chance to work in a Level II unit with a focus on neonatal stabilization and specialized procedures. You'll be responsible for monitoring cardiopulmonary, neurologic, metabolic, and thermal functions, often independently or in collaboration with physicians. The role includes managing respiratory support devices such as CPAP and high-flow oxygen, performing lab draws, assisting with lumbar punctures, and stabilizing pre-term infants less than 32 weeks for transport. This assignment is ideal for experienced neonatal RNs comfortable with complex procedures, ventilator management, and neonatal resuscitation. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts per week, providing ample opportunity to experience the vibrant local community during your days off.
