Job Description:

Join Carlsbad Medical Center as a Travel Med/Surg RN and experience the rewarding challenge of working on a general inpatient medical-surgical unit. This 13-week assignment involves 12-hour days, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with floating to accommodate patient needs and occasional call requirements. You'll handle a patient load of approximately six per nurse, performing routine Med/Surg nursing duties, managing non-critical pediatric patients, and using MedHost EMR. This role offers a chance to work in a supportive setting where your expertise in inpatient care will keep the unit running smoothly. Please note, all travelers must have at least 2 years of experience, be BLS certified, with ACLS & PALS preferred, and must complete fingerprinting as required by New Mexico regulations.
