Job Description:

Join a busy ICU and progressive care unit in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for a 13-week travel assignment working 12-hour night shifts. As an ICU RN, you'll be managing ventilated patients, initiating and titrating IV drips, assisting with intubations and line placements, and monitoring critically ill patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, renal failure, and myocardial infarctions. The role offers the opportunity to float across ICU, PCU, and Medsurg units within a 1:3 patient ratio, providing diverse clinical experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 facility. The unit is equipped with Phillips monitors, Epic EMR, Pyxis, EKG machines, and dopplers. Expect a workload demanding critical thinking, flexibility, and team collaboration. The role includes 36 hours per week, with a focus on delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while adapting to patient acuity levels and unit needs.
