Job Description:
This entry-level cardiovascular and radiologic technologist role involves working under the supervision of a mentor or preceptor, gaining practical experience in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. The position offers a unique opportunity to hone skills with highly specialized equipment in various settings, including outpatient clinics and remote outreach centers. Your daily tasks will include preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating advanced cardiovascular and radiologic devices, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure accurate data collection and quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning. Expect to handle technical tasks such as image transfer, data entry, quality control, and high-level disinfecting, all integral to supporting high-quality patient care without direct patient interaction. This role combines hands-on technical work with professional development, making it a solid stepping stone into specialized imaging services. The schedule is nights, with a 12-hour shift, and the position requires a 13-week commitment. Certifications such as ARRT CT, AHA BLS, and experience in Level 1 trauma settings are essential.
