Job Description:

Join a prestigious Level I Trauma hospital in Albuquerque as a PACU Registered Nurse. This 13-week contract offers a chance to work in a demanding yet rewarding environment, where you'll handle post-operative recovery and assist with pre/post Cath lab procedures. Your role will feature 10-hour day shifts, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, including some on-call overnight shifts. If you thrive under pressure and have experience with trauma and telemetry, this assignment could be your next professional milestone. The hospital provides an opportunity to float within scope to support the department, specifically in the Holding area, where patient ratios vary from 1:2 to 1:5. Ideal candidates will bring at least 2 years of recent PACU experience, hold current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and have an active license to work in New Mexico. Locals within 100 miles are not accepted, and longer time-off requests require prior approval.
