Job Description:

This Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse contract offers an engaging opportunity to work on a dedicated telemetry unit, focusing on patients with arrhythmias, pacemakers, and defibrillators. The role involves interpreting dysrhythmias, managing cardiac drips like Cardizem, Dopamine, and Heparin, and collaborating with a heart failure navigator. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts, with the chance to support float assignments across other telemetry units. Note that RTO is not permitted after booking, and any additional time off may result in cancellation. The unit values experienced travelers comfortable with cardiac protocols and electronic systems such as Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR. Successful candidates will complete 36 hours of orientation and pass an EKG test prior to start, ensuring readiness for this fast-paced, specialized unit.
