Job Description:

Join our team for a rewarding 13-week travel contract as a registered nurse in a specialized inpatient rehabilitation unit. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing essential care for adult patients with diverse diagnoses, including stroke, trauma, orthopedics, and neuro conditions. This role offers an opportunity to gain unique experience in a setting dedicated to recovery, with patient stays averaging 10-14 days. Responsibilities include managing IV fluids, antibiotics, and inhalers, reading strips, and participating in voluntary team conferences. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:5, with nurses and CNAs supporting patient needs. First-time travelers are welcome if they have rehab experience or a background as an MS nurse—those with prior rehab experience will be considered even if new to travel assignments. You may be asked to serve as charge nurse or take patient assignments, and adherence to a professional dress code is required.
