Job Description:

Join a 14-week travel ICU nursing assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota, where you'll work 48 hours per week, predominantly during 12-hour night shifts. This role places you in a mixed ICU unit with 39 beds, caring for complex surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma patients. Your expertise will be vital managing high-acuity cases involving ventilator management, hemodynamic lines, and medications such as vasopressors and paralytics. The setting emphasizes independent critical thinking and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with regular support from charge nurses, resource staff, and intensivists. Prior ICU experience is required, and experience with Epic charting, hemodynamic management, and advanced skills like Impella or CRRT are highly valued. You will not only provide essential patient care but also potentially contribute to precepting students, all while working in a facility that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
