Job Description:

Join a specialized respiratory therapy team in a quieter facility where small-scale patient volume allows for focused care and technical skill application. This 13-week contract involves rotating 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including weekends and holidays. Your responsibilities will center around performing assessments, diagnostic testing, and administering prescribed respiratory treatments, with a focus on evaluation of treatment effectiveness and accurate documentation. This role is perfect for experienced Respiratory Therapists who thrive in a setting requiring both technical expertise and adaptability, especially during triage situations that call for quick responses and coordination with a larger hospital system in Boston. Candidates must hold an active MA Respiratory Therapist License, RRT credential, and current BLS certification. NRP certification is required, and ACLS is preferred. Proficiency in drawing arterial blood gases and working with EMR systems is essential. This is a fast-paced, non-telemetry environment—with an emphasis on clinical precision and patient safety.
