Job Description:

Join a travel ER RN assignment where you'll play a pivotal role in managing emergency department cases with a focus on cardiac monitoring, IV insertions, lab draws, and medication management. Working primarily overnight shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., you'll experience a fast-paced environment that demands quick thinking and precise skill application. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work in a unit with 21 beds, float as needed, and utilize Cerner EMR for documentation. Expect to be part of a dedicated team handling a patient ratio of approximately 1:4 or 1:5, depending on the assignment. The role emphasizes hands-on skills such as blood glucose testing, Foley insertions, vital signs, and assessment documentation—making it ideal for experienced ER nurses eager to expand their clinical expertise in a supportive setting.
