Job Description:

Join a specialized behavioral health team as a Registered Nurse in Phoenix, AZ, working on a 12-hour night shift schedule. This contract offers the opportunity to provide mental health care across multiple facilities, including adolescent, adult, and geriatric units, with a focus on psych patient management. The role requires flexibility to float between facilities (Mesa, Roosevelt, Maryvale) as needed, with an emphasis on stabilizing patients with minor med-surg needs while maintaining your primary focus in psychiatric units. Expect to perform tasks such as tube feedings, NG tube insertions, Foley catheter maintenance, IV starts, and assisting with voluntary and involuntary commitments. Charge nurse responsibilities are part of the role, and prior experience in psychiatric settings is essential. Orientation will be conducted during days for the first two weeks, starting promptly, so readiness to begin is key.
