Job Description:

Join the Emergency Room team at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Indiana, for a 13-week travel contract. This role is perfect for experienced ER nurses comfortable with Level II Trauma settings and pediatric cases. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., every weekend (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday), providing critical care during some of the busiest hours. It’s a fast-paced environment where your resilience and ability to manage change will shine. Expect to handle complex cases, pass competency exams such as 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia assessments, and use the Epic charting system. Set your schedule with guaranteed 36 hours per week, with additional hours during holidays when the unit is closed.
