Job Description:

This position offers a hands-on opportunity to work as a Surgical Tech specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room procedures within a busy hospital setting. You'll be responsible for preparing and maintaining sterile fields, assembling case carts with all necessary supplies, and assisting surgeons during complex cardiac and thoracic surgeries. The role requires quick thinking and resilience, as you'll be setting up operating rooms for multiple cases per day, supporting a team of cardiothoracic surgeons, and occasionally floating to other central hospital locations. The assignment is uniquely fast-paced and demands a motivated, flexible professional who thrives under changing conditions and is eager to contribute beyond the OR, including downtime tasks like cleaning and organizing supplies. This 13-week contract provides a steady work schedule with eight-hour shifts, primarily Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities during weekends and holidays.
