Job Description:

Join the team at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for a 13-week contract as a Cardiothoracic Surgical Technologist. This role involves preparing the operative suite for cardiothoracic and thoracic robotic surgeries, ensuring all supplies are in place, and scrubbing in on approximately 50 to 60 cases per month with three dedicated cardiothoracic surgeons. The position requires a proactive and adaptable traveler ready to float across all Central Aspirus locations as needed, with shifts scheduled from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Be prepared to work some early mornings or late evenings based on case volume, and handle on-call responsibilities—including one night per week, one weekend per month, and backup shifts—with a minimum response time of 30 minutes. This is a hands-on role that demands resilience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage change seamlessly. Prior travel experience and at least two years of CVOR experience are required, along with current BLS and CST licensure (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted).

Job Specifics:
