Job Description:

Join an Operating Room travel team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse supporting a high-volume mix of cases with a strong focus on Neuro skillsets (predominantly 3/4 in Neuro). This contract offers a 12-hour rotating schedule in an OR setting, with a day shift baseline (07:00–19:30) and possible night shift rotation. You’ll handle a diverse surgical roster including Lap chole, Lap appy, Ex lap, I&D, bariatric, colorectal, PEG & Trach, and DaVinci cases—DaVinci experience is highly preferred. Oncology, ortho, and neuro experience are highly preferred, and exposure to a majority of the following case types is required.

Weekly staffing can include occasional off-shifting (1–3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week scheduling period, though it is often not needed. Orientation is provided on a bi-weekly schedule to help you ramp up with the facility’s workflow. Call is part of the rhythm: expect 1–2 weeknights per week on average, plus weekend call approximately every 4–5 weeks (24 hours on Saturday OR Sunday, with 1–2 days/month). The schedule follows a block approach, and block scheduling cannot be accommodated.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of OR RN experience and hold current BLS. First-time travelers are not accepted, and locals are not accepted (candidate must be more than 100 miles from the facility). This is a 100% nicotine-free facility, and scrubs are provided by the facility.
