Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in the bustling AWH Emergency Department in Wausau, WI, working 12-hour night shifts that typically run from 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM. You'll be part of a fast-paced, trauma Level II unit with a diverse patient population, including neuro, cardiac, pediatric, and geriatric cases. Expect to manage 3-4 patients per nurse, perform lab draws, administer nebulizer treatments, and operate under EPIC charting. Flexibility is key as you may float to nearby locations and occasionally work on-call shifts with minimal response times. The role offers guaranteed 36 hours weekly, with some low census periods during which travelers can be placed on call and receive call-back pay. This assignment is ideal for resilient RNs with at least 2 years of experience, including recent trauma care, and a strong ability to manage change independently.
