Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is situated at CENTENNIAL Medical Center's 10 Tower in Nashville, Tennessee. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts in a specialized neuro stepdown and acute care unit that accommodates both critical and step-down patients. The role involves managing patients with diverse conditions, including those requiring ventilator support, chest tubes, and cardiac drips, while collaborating with a team of nurses, techs, and unit secretaries. Experience in neuro stepdown and acute care is essential, as is strong critical thinking and excellent time management skills. The unit prides itself on its advanced equipment, modern protocols, and supportive staff, making it an excellent starting point for those interested in advancing toward ICU nursing. The schedule includes weekend shifts, and floating policies are in place for experienced nurses after orientation. Certifications required are BLS and ACLS, with a focus on high-quality bedside reporting, connecting personally with patients, and participating in daily huddles to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
