Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Amarillo, Texas. This position offers a 12-hour day shift schedule, typically working four days a week from 07:00 to 19:30. You will be primarily responsible for providing compassionate care to a diverse med/surg patient population, with telemetry monitoring handled centrally. The unit welcomes first-time travelers and maintains a patient ratio of 1:6, with the opportunity to float across departments and assist as a house discharge nurse. Certification in BLS is required, and familiarity with Epic charting system will be beneficial. This assignment offers an engaging environment with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills, all while working in a city known for its welcoming community and vibrant cultural scene.
