Job Description:

This Oncology Registered Nurse role is focused on supporting ambulatory oncology services at the main campus in Portland, Oregon. You'll work on the 4th floor of the Kohler building, providing patient care during day shifts scheduled for four 10-hour days from 07:00 to 17:30. The position offers an engaging opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hematology, medical, and surgical oncology, to deliver coordinated care to both adult and pediatric patients with complex diagnoses like leukemia, lymphoma, and other malignancies. Expect a fast-paced environment with multitasking, multiple interruptions, and exposure to environmental hazards such as hazardous medications and radiation. Your responsibilities will include participating in patient assessments, coordinating treatments, and supporting overall oncology workflows. Recent oncology experience and a valid Oregon RN license are required, along with certifications such as OCN or ongoing cancer-related education to ensure high-quality care delivery. This 13-week assignment is ideal for nurses who thrive in diverse and dynamic settings, eager to make a significant impact in outpatient oncology care.
