Job Description:

Join the surgical team at Maine Medical Center in Portland as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room for a 13-week contract. You will assist in various surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment, supporting specialties such as trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, and pediatrics. This role requires delivering precise perioperative support, coordinating with anesthesia and surgical staff, and ensuring sterile standards are upheld. Expect to work 10-hour days during day shifts on a schedule that accommodates weekend call duties, including one overnight trauma call per week. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to refine your OR skills and immerse yourself in a collaborative surgical setting.
